Mike Lala is the author of two chapbooks, [fire!] and Under the Westward Night, and poems appearing in Boston Review, Fence, The Brooklyn Rail, Colorado Review, Artifice, The Awl, and elsewhere. He lives in New York, where he co-founded Fireside Follies, edits Washington Square's poetry section, and is a Veteran's Writing Workshop fellow at NYU.
